Travel and curiosity ignited my passion for real estate nearly 50 years ago when I worked as a bassist for country music star Barbara Mandrell. Motoring from place to place on tour with this legendary performer, I encountered America in my own unique way, gazing out through the window of a 4104 GMC bus and exploring new streets on foot at our destinations in the few free hours we sidemen enjoyed prior to Barbara's concerts.
Along the way I embraced it all; land, architecture, people - so many fleeting friends whose stories were linked to the attributes, images and symbols of place.
